Meet Dr. Young Yi (aka Dr. Young)

Dr. Young Yi graduated magna cum laude from Colorado College with degrees in mathematics and biology and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his doctorate from Harvard School of Dental Medicine, graduating cum laude, and was recognized with several awards, including the Matthew Boylan Scholarship, the National Award of Excellence, and the Ryan Turner Memorial Scholarship. During his time at Harvard, Dr. Young also served as the First Delegate to the American Student Dental Association and was on the Harvard Medical School Student Council.

Dr. Young completed his pediatric dental residency at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident. He is a board-certified pediatric dentist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, an additional recognition for advanced expertise. Dr. Young is an executive board member of the Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, a board member for the Northeastern District of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and a member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society. He has also been recognized as a Top Dentist and a recipient of the 40 Under 40 award. Dr. Young now teaches pediatric dental residents at Boston Children’s Hospital and is an instructor at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Young contributes to the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry as an Oral Clinical Examiner and member of the Examination Committee.

Dr. Young lives in Boston and enjoys traveling and all things Disney in his spare time.
